Please consider prioritizing the ability to filter on tier items
|
Dear GGG,
Thank you for all the hard work you’ve been/ will continue to put into this beloved game. These are my opinions/ feedback for 0.2.0g. I’m playing in the SSF Dawn of the Hunt league. The recent changes to loot exacerbated the need for filtering tier items. In the higher end of mapping, rare monsters, especially those possessed by Azmeri spirits, are dropping many rare items along with some magic items. I’m not going to comment on the quantity of loot as I believe that should be your decision to align with the vision, however, with the current quantity of items dropping, the sensible thing to do would be to filter out loot using a set of criteria. Doing so hides tier items, items that I would normally not consider picking up but because of the tier, I would like to (even some magic items). On a side note, I like the tier item system, it’s great. Please consider prioritizing the ability to filter on tier items. Thank you. Last bumped on May 2, 2025, 10:25:01 AM

Agree there need to be better ways to filter loot but that is in direct colllision with the having to identify items dogma.
I played some maps last night after the patch and first thought was damn, that will be a problem for people who can't help themselfes but transporting everything back to their hideout. It seemed almost too many items are dropping. But i really don't think that's the case, just that you can't prefilter bunch of stuff that you're not interested in. Once all the classes are in + relevant new weapons and items this will become a real problem. They will have to drop even more items if they don't want to water down the drop rates for class specific loot across the whole game. |

Agreed ... IMHO should have already have been possible seeing that TIER items are supposed to be important (earlier and esp. now).
I'm getting a BAD feeling GGG is stretching their people too far. When you overload a person, team, etc. these "repeated oversights" happen a lot. |
