Spirit and minions bug

My spirit keeps vanishing then reappearing for no reason. My minions will work one minute then stop working the next minute acting like there is some sort of issue indicated by a red exclamation point. I don't mess with my equipment so that's not it. Even when I get rid of minions to try and make more spirit it doesn't work.
