End game uninspiring

I am finding the process in the end game uninspiring. This last patch is just a really lame bandaid for Atlas point progression this system they had last season was alit better. They could have had that and just added this seasons system to it kind of a blending of my self I would have something to work towards not this grind out maps just killing the main objective to move forward in the Atlas looking for one of them red dots that give you some points

The poe1 atlas progression system is a lot better, along with the poe1 atlas tree. Downgrading into poe2 is just uninspiring itself.
