Bug Report: Omen of Whittling does not remove the correct modifier

However, when I used a Chaos Orb with the Omen of Whittling, it removed or changed different modifiers instead — as shown in the screenshot.  Worse, when I tried again, the resulting item became a jumbled mess of stats, some with placeholder or incorrect values.  Last bumped on May 1, 2025, 3:28:49 AM

Will the item that was altered be reverted to its original state once the patch is applied ?

Dude u need to learn about ilvl of mod tiers.
Omen says its rerolling lowest LEVEL mod anot Tier ! Its only visual bug with fractured items. Omen will remove RIGHT lowest ILVL mod on ur item. trust me yesterday i did the same with my amulet. i can send u screenshots if u need. Last edited by psihopro#7489 on May 1, 2025, 2:20:58 AM

" So if I use it now, it should remove the Accuracy mod, not the Critical mod — is that correct, assuming it's based on the lowest level mod? I'm honestly too afraid to use anything now, since the visual shows one thing but the actual result is different. And honestly, that's not the player's fault at all. Wouldn't you agree? |

Whittling has some visual bugs with fractured items but is functioning correctly as far as I know. It does not remove the lowest TIER modifier but the one with the lowest level requirement. T4 life leech is lvl 68. T5 Crit damage bonus is 59. You cannot remove the life leech instead of crit bonus so your item is kinda bricked. It will remove the T1 accuracy now.
