Can't Open The Phaaryl Megalith Runes After Using Portal

Title - Opened 3 of the runes on the ground and ran out of inventory. Thought oh no worries I'll just portal home real fast and make room and then open the other runes.....NOPE
Runes won't open when coming back from town....Really stupid design and needs to be fixed.... I already have the worst inventory management system with no room to hold anything.... I don't need potential loot to be unlootable.....thanks.... Also hoping for compensation but am super doubtful.....
