Corruptes nexus aren't the solution
|
Hi, I've as of now only cleared 9 corrupted nexus, failled 1 due to some questionable creepblock in an norrow passage and 1 cause I forgot that I had launched it and left the game.
So first thing first, they are a good addition to the game. It makes the altas more lively and are a chase for the player. They are also somewhat challenging and a bit more rewarding (still not sure about that) that regular maps. That's okay They aren't the solution to get the altas point though. I could have had all my passives with the previous system already. That a faillure of the actual system for me. It's too random. I've now decided that running lvl 1 maps in random line to towers and then run the tower with a good juiced map to get the tablet slots are is the best wau to progress in the atlas. I don't really know how to say it but it's not what I thougth the new atlas would mean when you presented it last year. I would suggest more of a steady introducting of the endgame by a suite of quest that could be like so: 1. Complete a waystone and kill all rare mobs - 2 passives 2. Complete a waystone with a boss - 2 passives 3. Complete a magic waystone of lvl a 4. Complete a rare waystone of lvl b 5. Complete a tower and use the tablet in the tower interface - 2 passives 6. Complete a waystone influenced by 2 towers - 2 passives 7. ... 19. Find a Stone citadel, a Iron citadl, a Copper citadel 20. Complete a The Burning Monolith This could serve as a form of tutorial for the endagme and guide the player into a possible "intended" way of setting the atlas. I don't know if other find it interresting but having only 20 point and clearring T16 isn't really fun Last bumped on Apr 29, 2025, 10:11:39 AM

I've got 15 nexuses but yet to find an iron citadel
They're not that hard to find (they reveal themselves around a tower in the fog) but they have been mostly out of the way for me, a couple have been in good juice spots |

corrupted nexus research is more interesting than the old 0.1 system –
not perfect, but the patch should reduce the number of Nexuses to find. For the lore and gameplay, this system is better in every way, though it should of course be improved over time. |
