Leaving Trial of Sekhemas

I was doing Trial a Sekhemas with a solid run. Near the end of the 3rd part of the trial I've got a message to sell out an item.

The game allowed me to portal out the trial but why I can't go back? What's the point in letting me out then?

The portal exist in act 2 normal mode city but it isn't interactable.

Go to the trial location in act 2, interact with the barya altar, and click "Open" and enter the subsequent portal to resume your run.

You cannot take the old TP back, but your run is not gone.
(I have done countless sekhemas and TP out all the time to give away carries)
