Feedback: Playing showing all magic items [Maps]

I changed my filter to show all magic items. I played some Tier 1 blue maps.
I picked up every magic, rare, or scrapable item, and on each map, I had to go to my hideout multiple times to mass-identify, sell to vendors, or stash them. Even in T1, a lot of magic items drop. Not every item has a mod that can be used later for recombination or is worth trying to regal. Identifying every item feels bad because it breaks the flow of gameplay, forcing me to go to the hideout multiple times per map. So, it feels better to hide a lot of the items with the filter. Consider making items drop already identified (at least magic and rares), so we can filter them properly. Instead of filtering by rarity, we could filter by explicits. If the game is balanced around the quantity of items dropped, it doesn't feel good to have to identify dozens of items per map. Identification is supposed to provide a second "adrenaline peak," but because the process feels so tedious, we just hide the loot. In the end, the identification mechanic removes the first "adrenaline peak" of seeing so many items drop. Last bumped on Apr 27, 2025, 10:23:10 PM
