Thief of Ivory progression broken, campaign bricked.

Hey!
Upon killing the boss duo for the quest, the quest progressed to picking up the tusk, but the tusk itself did not drop. Made a new instance, killed them again, still no drop. Both killings dropped regular loot.
Can I get some assistance in un-bricking the campaign?
