More minions feedback
minions unique disadvantages and feedback, each should be addressed.
minions do not clear fast enough to ever race making them not viable to play, - add minion melee splash. When your minions die, they and your entire passive tree with them take 4-8 seconds to respawn, this can also chain to truly insane downtimes on your entire passive tree. - make lasp gasp an aura the refreshes when another minion dies, currently bosses slam them and kill all of them instantly shutting down your entire passive tree in one, 1 second boss swoop, which somehow every single boss does. This was not the case in poe 1 as you could just resummon your minions. this makes some bosses veryyyyyyyy difficult every mob in the game aoes and kills them all their ai is so bad that even at 20% enemy slow with temp chains they still can't keep up and auto attack. they gleefully chase behind enemies doing no damage, while 100% of self-cast moves, do not. - increase minion attack range by 1, or allow one melee attack on contact. spirit costs are absurd with 1 skele warrior costing 2 times what mysticism costs, does 1 skele warrior add 30% damage? not even close. i think the solution to this is adding another resource pool for minions and one for auras, spectres have tons of bugs, remaining in ghost form, instead of attacking, vanishing, dying randomly, resetting your spirit pool and turning off .... getting stuck and the list goes on bois!!! the state of spectres upon release was not up to GGG standards at all! while playing minions the minion res timer will begin to haunt your every waking second as it will always, always, always be there staring at you. the current itemization on minions is garbage! and the scepter is adding around 100%-500% damage to minion builds..... . ... it feels way to important, this needs to be split up across other items. minions except for the skeletal warrior offer no meat shield, as fast mobs will tunnel vision in on you and never stop chasing you and you only, no matter what. this was solved by poe 1 meat shield taunt, which was totally broken. minions will surround bosses glitching them out, as the boss cannot move to pursue you. they require you to lower 2 types of resistance, rather than 1, self cast builds takes 3 passive points to bypass resist, minions.... you have to curse at a 60 spirit cost, or self cast curse which is misery. what is the deal with armor? i'm seeing my minions take off 2000 and my curse take of 2000-3000, do trash mobs seriously each have 5k armor? this is mind boggling... spirit costs are insane and spirit is a totally trash stat. minions compared to self cast builds trail by an insane magnitude... almost like the person balancing them was in a "rush" or didn't have any intention of making them any good at all. and the list of disadvantages goes on for a very long time, i spent a long time trying to get these puppies rocking, but i couldn't!! the only thing that worked was the vaal guards as an infernalist, everything else was so unbelievably bad it hurt my brain, i really can't see how these got past Q.C. the goal is to have MANY viable builds, not just 1 When really sub-par content gets past Q.C. it is going to negatively effect your player count, and more importantly your players and game as a whole. You can make the Lord of the Rings and everyone will love you... or you can make the Hobbit.... but no 1 watches the Hobbit... NO ONE!!! most important fix: hold down a button, minions move towards it, no excuses. on release, AI mode again.
