Name's Epicfury. I've played a warrior to 90+ on both patches so I wouldn't really call myself a new player but the amazon I've not tried / looked much into. I made a new character in SSF for feedback purposes - "EpicfuryAmazonn". I focused on evasion and armour early and I'm transitioning to evasion ES and a normal shield with higher block now around level 20. I think I dropped 1 total exalt and 1 total regal orb on my journey to level 20 (I've just freed Risu). I had to vendor the expensive rares for gold's sake as I was extremely unlucky with drops. I only have 1 guaranteed sarcophagus ring and no amulet. -I think drops of magic and rare items should be adjusted at low levels especially since this is our main way of generating currency (transmute/regal) and gold. During the entire process I felt like my spear does little damage unless I invested into maximum twister synergy. But the set up for it often felt bad as I'd have to move out of my whirlwinds and start the combo anew. It'd be nice to have an option to keep the whirlwinds following the character. Parrying feels off. Most of the time when I still tried to parry I'd find myself standing there holding the buckler up very awkwardly awaiting a swing just to be body pushed a slight bit and not connect. -Perhaps preventing pushes while blocking could remove this problem entirely Having good flat rolls on the weapon feels like a mandatory thing in the early levels. I have never felt I did "wow" damage. -Low tier spear base damage could be adjusted as it's not possible to dual wield with spears or have their low level skills attack % modifiers increased. Even with 10% movement speed boots I felt my character sluggish, I think the armour and shield penalties to movement feel really bad, as we don't have any way of removing those (like Art of the Gladiator for example). -Raise base movement speed or remove item penalties all together. I think it's a relic of a past design created when more options for movement increases were present. I think attribute requirements for gear and skills are slightly too steep. I've currently got bonus 25 attribute points on my gear alone, and barely managing the weapon/skill/gear minimums. -Lower act 1,2 gear requirements slightly (the runes are already big help but not enough for early levels) All in all I enjoyed the difficulty coming with exploring the new class currently on (26.04.2025) I can't imagine doing this before the health adjustments. I think the combo play is cool and being able to shoot out 10+ twisters feels amazing visually. I don't really mind the light stuns too much as I feel like enemies should be hindering us from doing what we want although at times it feels frustrating when being chain stunned. I feel rewarded for my input but the early stages of combo feel weak. I also think the game is too cheap with loot as it is right now. Hope this helps. I've never written a feedback post.
