Trade and it's future

Hello,
People have no reason to agree with what i have to say but these are my thoughts on trade: I understand from a business perspective that having a trade economy that relies on player interactions (hideout to hideout gameplay) is great for selling hideouts and cosmetics but i have just spent a good part of my Saturday afternoon trying to purchase a unique spear that you either get 0 replies from the person selling or people listing items under market cost just to instantly whisper back with an increased cost that isn't what I (the purchaser) intended to pay. It isn't an issue whilst the economy is booming and lots of items are flooding the market which is why i still think it works in POE 1 but the intended audience of POE 2 most of which i suspect haven't played POE 1 (That isn't intended as an insult) are not jiving with the system and i feel like it needs modernizing. That isn't to say that GGG should scrap the system but maybe impose listing costs / uptimes through the stash tab system and once they have expired delist the items from the trade site? I would prefer the alternative to this but it has been asked many times and been pushed aside / shot down by the developers. Anyone else feeling this way? Maybe have some other ideas aside from just adding a straight up auction house? Am i the problem? have i been trying to trade wrong? Thanks. TLDR: Trade is rough needs modernizing! There is no inherent reason an automated trade system that prevents the bait-and-switch cannot also require hideout-to-hideout visits.
All that's required is that when you click "buy" you are transferred to the seller's hideout, and a special stash tab is created with your purchase. If they wanted it to work this way, they could make it do so. |

" Yep simply automating the part where people put their stuff in a basket and double check each other would be a MASSIVE improvement. |
