Game won't launch through steam

Now, seemingly out of the blue, I am unable to launch the game via steam. I believe my last login, with no issues, was prior to the 0.2.0f patch but I am unsure which hotfix was my last playtime.

I have attempted several of the solutions floating around on youtube, reddit, steam discussions, and this forum however I am still experiencing issues.

I have updated windows, drivers, uninstalled then reinstalled, altered the config file, verified integrity, deleted the config file, launched as administrator, launched in compatibility mode, disabled fullscreen optimizations, ran the compatibility troubleshooter but I am still unable to launch through steam.

I'm convinced that my GGG FBI agent is punishing me for booting up Last Epoch! (I joke, but please fix)

Downloaded the standalone client and I am able to launch with no issues.
