Waystones need to have better mods.
Why is nobody talking about how bad the affix pool for Waystones are?
On the suffix side the affix pool and the ranges they roll are absolutely outrageous, 79% more monster health, 400% crit chance, 35-40% added damage and extra damage, slows, enfeeble, etc. This is why every converges on builds that can one shot and CC entire screens. There is no hope for builds that want to get into the middle of things and take a brawl. And for literally no rewards, I get more waystone drop chance so that I can revel even more in how shit the affixes are. With the new atlas and the reworked progression, sustain is not a problem at all. Half of the prefixes are useless. More Gold drop rate, 1 additional shrine, increased chests are mostly worthless in endgame. Only thing useful are rarity and quantity and increased rare mobs (maybe experience gain sometimes). They just feel so underpowered and useless compared to the massive downsides on the suffix side. Quant and Rarity should be implicit affixes that goes higher the more challenging the suffixes are and those need to be brought down a peg or two. Last bumped on Apr 24, 2025, 8:05:13 PM
