My honest unbiased Feedback after playing Huntress to T15 and Warrior to T15

I played Huntress(Amazon) first. The only real problem I had with Huntress was how squishy she was at the beginning once I got level 3 supports it was smooth sailing. Start of endgame I think I was lucky. From my t1 to t15 I was able to get around 7 divs, 3 greater jeweller's, 7 fracturing, decent exalts and chaos. Weapons and armor drops were just garbage so I just disenchanted since crafting is terrible but no big deal, I was able to upgrade my gear through the market so I was able to progress further. I had around 57% increased rarity

I played warrior(Smith) and treated it as if it was my league starter, meaning I only used gear and currency I got with the Warrior. Had no problems in the campaign, in fact my run was smoother than my huntress(In fact I was one shotting or two shotting a lot of bosses until around t7). Then came the endgame...Endgame experience was horrible. Not because it was "difficult", but rather the drops were atrocious. My magic find was higher on the Warrior, around 70 to 85 at varying points. Gear drops were garbage and all the rares and bosses were just giving me transmutations and augmentations. Completely useless in endgame. I couldn't trade them for decent currency to buy anything. Since gear drops were pathetic and currency drops were on strike, it was very difficult to upgrade my character. From tier 1 to tier 13, no divines, no greater jeweller's, no fracturing, around 15ish exalt, around 6 chaos, and just all transmutations and augmentations. I had to trade my chaos just to get greater jeweller's for a forced upgrade to dps.

Overall, my problem wasn't nerfs to gems, abilies, mechanics, etc and/or buffs to enemies, it was the huge wall of disgusting currency drop rate and unuseable gear drops in the endgame. In a game that wants you to craft because devs "wanted gear on the ground to be useable and craftable"; I found it very stupid that I could not use the gear on the ground and I could not craft them either because killing rares and bosses didn't give me the currency necessary to craft in endgame to upgrade the gear. Since I had no currency, I could not buy decent gear in the market. After reaching t15 through sheer perseverance, I just decided to use the currency I found in my huntress run to upgrade my warrior gear. I had wanted to try a lot of builds with warrior, monk, and witch but the terrible quality of drops was just discouraging.

These terrible drops also lead to a domino effect:

1. Terrible drops means players lose interest and quit the game because it halts character progression,
2. Lower player count means fewer items found
3. Fewer items found means fewer choices in the market and inflated market prices
4. Players left in the game are now left with inflated prices in the market or just less gear to buy from. They can't craft either because they don't have the currency needed to craft. Even if they did, the gear on the ground is terrible that crafting them would be a waste of currency. Currency that would be better used in the market but then again, there are a few good items in the market, and if there were they would be almost always overpriced.

not gonna lie, my experience was similar.

i did get lucky and got 2 nat divs though managed to buy really decent war gear with those 2 divs. ngl the set i got for the price was impressive.

not even a week later inflation hit and all the gear i have equipped that i payed next to nothing for was now being listed for multiple div a piece for similar gear.

if i started a week later i probably would have said nah bro and stopped playing.

if i did not get extremely lucky i would have been gone.

now that ive farmed some pinnacles i am gone. and its because everything on the pinnacle drop lists has been nerfed. there is absolutely nothing worth farming for there, and it takes to long to get the fragments to do it.

i would love to map and just ignore that problem, but im getting really thristy in this drought and spending a few hours selling ever single thing you pick up to the vendor and getting mabye 15ex an hour its just feels like a huge waste of my time.

If they simply stopped catering to bot / rmt rates, and instead, raised the rates so we could comfortably play and craft ourselves... Well, it would take care of soooooo many issues, except the part where, maybe they gettin kickbacks from RMT? Who knows, sure fucking seems like it.
GGG - Why you no?
Yep. Was the same for me.

Had a build that was kinda easy to gear in early/mid game, but getting even something decent in end game!? Pah. No.

I even recorded a map I ran without a loot filter... it was insane.
And that wasn't just a map without anything in it. I got the wisp that turns rares into bosses, and it was a nexus with the boss...

I forgot to add:

The maps felt "larger" than what they were in 0.1. But I feel it felt much larger than what they actually were because the drops were so bad and made you feel as if you were in a desert.

An interesting test they can do is if they make drop quality better(if players were getting a generous amount of exalts. chaos. fracturing orbs in a map; maybe a divine every few maps), would they feel that the maps are still large or would they not notice anymore because of the dopamine rush from getting a lot of good quality drops in a map...
