An option to reset a dead HC character instead of forcing it from hc to sc or hcssf to ssf.

As title says it would be to have a button next to the "resurrect" button. So that instead of going softcore you just immediately restart your HC run on the same character. It would add a lot of quality of life and remove extra steps if you are not planning on playing softcore. For example, with the current system your character is forced to softcore and you'd have to make a new character if you wanna play hardcore. And if you wanna play with that same name as before you'd now have to also delete the character that got booted off hc so you can use the same name.

OP is asking the character is reset back to lvl 1 with no gear just to save the time of having to create a new character. Also, there's the "keeping the nickname" part, which is very fair.

I don't know why this wasn't implemented yet, but HC characters should have three buttons upon death:

1) Current "ressurect" one

2) Delete character button (with a confirmation prompt)

3) Reset character button (with a confirmation prompt)

that makes sense, that actually would be a pretty good QOL feature

just delete the character and name it the same... it's not even worth the dev time.
