Level ups feel awesome and seeing your exp bar move makes you wanna play more.

Seeing your exp bar standing still even when you're doing the juiciest map feels bad and makes you play less.

What I'm trying to say is that leveling up to 100 shouldn't be some ultimate and extremely boring undertaking. It should be doable by anybody who keeps playing. Within sensible time. After which you should start getting "prestige levels" or something at steady rate.

Basically you should always see your exp bar moving and getting level ups every once in a while. Even if it doesn't mean much. I.e. you obviously won't get any skill points after lvl100. But maybe it can give you some little stuff, like 1% res of your choosing per level or whatever.

No and I hope they never remove death penalty. You can pick any arbitrary level, be it 90, or 93, or 96, and get there and just keep playing. I like that to get the cap you have to play without dying for a long time so it's an achievement in itself. The game is balanced for a level 90, so anything above is just a bonus. You want it? Then earn it.
Just wait to reach over 90 bro....
