high latency for no reason poe 2

Hi, my problem started few days ago and it's really weird, it looks like game sometimes changing my server, like from frankfurt to brazil or something like this, but i figure it out that it's not that correct hypothesis, why ? because there is a bunch of maps that i have always high ping (latency), but it's not like spikes for something, why it's weird? because when im staying in one place i have normal ping but only when i move my character it spike to 120 and it's stable to time when im gonna stop my character, for example freythorn is a map when i never have ping no matter what (it's stable like 40 all the time, 0 spikes), but there is also map like chimeral wetlands when i have always situation like i type before - not moving = normal ping, moving = 120 stable latency, also there is hideout that is 50/50 situation when sometimes when i enter it i have same problem like on chimeral wetlands etc. but sometimes i don't, i thought maybe my lossless scaling program causes these ping problems or maybe it's cause my internet issue but every other game working totally fine, also i checked my ping on several ping test websites and everywhere it's good, about lossless scaling i turn it off, restarted computer and try to play but it's same situation like with program so i know it's not this solution, it looks like a bit it's my own problem cause i dont see many people with same problems (being honest i found only 1 person with 1:1 situation like me), any ideas?

Not sure. You should try the POE2 or technical sections though, will be more likely to get an answer. They have mentioned there has been some problems with DDOS in Europe. Maybe does not relate, but you likely need some technical people to help.
problem is i have this problem with poe 2, i didnt find same section for poe 2 so i asked here in poe 1 forum, also there is no technical support for poe 2, only for poe 1, idk what to do, i wrote this post in like 4 different places but still no one respond
Yeah, I don't know why there is no technical support section for POE2, seems necessary. Maybe it is combined with one of the other section like POE2 feedback, i'm not sure.
Just bumping because i have the same issue.
I can stand still and my ping is ~4 ms. Then when moving it becomes a stable 110ms.
If i move while having my inventory open, the ping fluctuates between the 4 and 110 ms rather rapidly.
Also if i move items in my inventory, the spike occurs.
Basically any input action to the server i guess.

It only happens occasionally, but when it happens, it stays that way.

Happens on all servers, all characters

Tried predictive / lockstep network, tried uninstalling (helped for 20 min ish).

Reverted NVIDIA til 366.36

Super frustrating and really makes the game sloggy and not at all worth playing.

Hoping for a fix!

So i just figgured that the issue seems to be instance based.
I can constantly have the issue in an instance of an area, but then when creating a new instance of the area at the waypoint, the ping seems to be fine in that new instance.

It will still be messed up in the original one though.
Stable 20ms in hideout, stable 20ms when mapping.. once I hit a big pack - ramps up to 150-200ms for 1-2s through which I get killed by a mob or two off screen..

To me, this looks like some sort of client<->server communication that the developers failed optimizing miserably..

Just a small indie company I guess..


Reminds me of GTA:Online where they send a massive 50mb++ json file that your game has to 'read' until it lets you actually play, which takes 4-5 minutes even on highest possible computers.

As mentioned above it is the same tried all, but it has issue no matter which server I try to use lowest MS Frankfurt or Amsterdam, issue feels less with Moscow where it shows 170ms
