Ritual does nto give enough to defer item

I deferred the omen of dextral erasure twice. Then the third round map it shows up again, but the three rituals combined did not give me enough to defer. Why would I ever do ritual again? I just wasted 4 maps of rituals.

There are a variety of ways to buff Rituals with the atlas and Precursors to improve loot, decrease deferral costs, decrease reroll costs, guarantee 4 Rituals every time etc.

You just need to get some Audience with the Kings, beat the boss, level up the Atlas and use some Ritual Precursors at towers and it can be very rewarding.
