No 5/6 ascendancy points after completing Trial of Sekhemas

I'm at level 75 (Dawn of the Huntress) and after several tries to complete the Trial of Sekhemas using a VALID 60+ Djinn Barya to gather ascendancy points 5 and 6, I couldn't receive the points.
Ascendancies points 1/2 Trial of Sekhemas and 3/4 Temple of Chaos. Edit: Couldn't find a way to delete this post to save myself from the embarrassment of being only on second floor. After several failures I was just so glad to see the the Altar of Ascendancy (which should reasonably appear only after finishing the trial?).
