Support Gem Drop Rate in Campaign

It seems like support gems are pretty few and far between in the campaign (first char of league) once you are able to fill out your skill page. I've got more lesser jewellers than supports in A1 Cruel. With the number of supports being added (recent and future) I want to experiment with supports while levelling but am unable to due to the lack of support gem drops. I see an interaction I can do and I wait an hour or two before I can try it out just due to the lack of support drops.

I would like to be able to experiment in game rather than PoBing the game to death, and it feels better to try something organically as you spot it rather than planning everything to a T.

This is more of a problem in A3 and on, where your "build" should be coming together and you start getting lesser jewellers.
