Its time to hear, and go back to the Poe1 map system
I really dont know, why the peoples want always change the things. Even if it works perfectly. Any developer can answer to me, what was the problem with the Poe 1 map system ? Please.
- It was great, super, awesome. If I wanted to go only the same maps, could do it. Now, can't in Poe 2. Even if I hate the Vaal factory, sometimes must go here, and another maps too... - If I wanted,example Breach on my map ? Atlas passives, and MAP DEVICE. Oh, comes to mind, what can I do with my exalts ? (use on some gear, because its ,,crafting", eh ). It was solved in Poe 1, used my chaos orbs with map device. And they never lost their prices to zero, like exalts here. - If I wanted to make my maps rewarding ? Could do it. Now ? Need to find Towers. One tower not enought, need minimum 2, but rather 3, near, and I can make some maps good. And after this, need to find another 3 towers together. Need to find Citadels too. Oh wait, that was worked out perfectly, several years ago. Even the first version in Poe 1, was way way better than this, in Poe 2. And now, the big idea, need to find Corrupted Nexus too. Oh man.... And we can say, and say, and say, why the Poe 1 system was better. Where the players spend their time ? 70-90%, in maps. If the map system not good, the full game can't be good. This system worked ,,well" with the Delve mechanics. But what do you think? Why didn't people like the Delve ? Not just because the loot not worth it, but players don't like to walk blindly, and spend their time with useless things, to reach a ,,maybe" profitable area. And no, the next patch with the better currency drop not solve this. I have 600 hrs in Poe 2. Not even near what I spent in the first game. But its much more boring, unenjoyable. I know its only early acces, and not even finished. But the main problem with the endgame, the map system. So the question still. What was the problem with the Poe1 map system ? Who was the person who thought this would be better? Ui. Sorry for my english, its not my native language, but hopefully its still understandable. And even interpretable, for those who need it... And to compound that problem, where do players spend 70 - 90% of their mapping time? Playing maps they don't even want to play in order to get to the maps they do want to play.
Your exalts are there to dump into waystones, hoping to get rarity and item quantity but getting temporal chains instead, then being sold to vendor. Because the game is already a series of bandaid solutions so thick you cant find skin anymore |

Add POE2 slide-movement, evades and graphic update to POE1 and i wont POE2 anymore.
