Seasonal issue: ACT 2: Valley of Titans: clan relics

I have inserted both the clan relics in the medallion holder and I cannot select a perk for supporting a clan, this is for first play through, I have selected chaos modes upgrade. Please help as I am a level 85 and don't want to reset.
