Recombinator: please guarantee at least an item to remain

I’m alright with low odds on success (although the current odds seem ridiculously low), but it feels really bad when you combine items and get nothing back.

It’d be significantly more fun if you’d get an item back and that item has X% chance to get the selected mods.

Also, I think you should add it to the campaign so even with bad drops you can take your chances at putting 2 mediocre items together and get 1 good item. At low levels the odds could be quite high without affecting the end game market, so it could be a nice crafting experience during the campaign.

Yeah that makes sense, I’m sure they can find a solution for this though 👍
One off the cuff example solution: items with level requirement under 60 don’t require expedition materials but gold.
