Severe FPS Drop During Co-op Play – Drops from 100 FPS to 2 FPS

I'm experiencing a severe FPS drop when playing cooperatively in Path of Exile 2. While solo play runs smoothly at around 100 FPS, joining a co-op session with a friend causes my FPS to instantly drop to 2–5 FPS. This happens consistently and affects not just me, but all players in the same party.

how I feel it:

Enter any T16 together .

FPS immediately drops for all party members.

Observed Behavior:

FPS drops from 100 to 2–5 FPS the moment we play together.

Happens in all zones and instances.

Issue is worsened by visual-heavy skills like Summon Raging Spirits.

Performance returns to normal in solo play.

Restarting the game only temporarily fixes the problem.

All party members experience the issue simultaneously.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

RAM: [16GB DDR4 3200MHz]

OS: [ Windows 11 Pro 64-bit]

Graphics API Tested: DirectX 11, DirectX 12, Vulkan — issue persists in all APIs

Additional Notes:

This issue only occurs during cooperative play.

Multiple players in the community have reported similar problems.

The game becomes virtually unplayable in multiplayer mode due to this.
