Belt Charm Slots

I have a level 31 rupture class ornate belt that states it has 2 charm slots and you would think with the one I allready have it would make 3 but it only makes 2, something isnt quite right there.

Do you have an additional charm slot from another source (e.g., passive tree)? If you do and it is being ignored, that would be a problem.
Your character has none by default until you put on a belt or add them elsewhere. Belts were changed to include 1 or more charm slots as an implicit property. Prior to this patch, Belts had a single default charm slot and could roll an explicit affix that granted more. This affix can no longer be obtained on new belts as they roll a varying number of slots to begin with. | |

Actually you are granted one charm slot at about lvl 10 it has nothing to do with anything you wear. Found it in Jaquanis Sanctum.

No, you get it by equipping the belt. If you remove the belt, the charm will remain in the slot, but will be inactive.

Its kind of confusing, the belt you use at low level has no charm slot but it still grants one charm slot, remove the belt you loose the charm slot which meens the belt did have a charm slot but it was hidden.

Forgive me im being a bit of a plank today, for some reason I didnt see and I cant understand why the white letters saying 1 charm slot on my belt.

Both types of belt still exist.
Belts that you obtained before the patch to charm slots will still look like the "before" picture above, with a line saying "Charm Slots: n". Belts that you dropped after the patch will look like the "after" picture, where the charm slot count is part of the implicit text. In future leagues, you would only have the new ones as the old style can no longer drop. |
