Game screen now turns entirely black during playing for long periods of time

Update broke something in the game. Logged on and started a map, the screen randomly goes completely black while gameplay continues. Sometime fixes itself, sometimes doesn't.

So in my case, with Global Illumination on, as soon as an Explosive Grenade explodes, the whole screen minus the town portal go completely black.

The title to the thread is a little misleading as we all just logged back in after an update and restart.

However, I experienced the same black screen issue going through the Augary Map. As I moved the screen would go completely black then come back. Not a flickering but as if the camera was being blocked by a black box at certain times. I was still able to move my character and use skills like normal gameplay I just couldn't see anything visually except mob health bars and loot.

I did die twice to the darkness unfortunately. I believe I will log out for a bit and hope whatever it is will be fixed.

This also happened to me. Someone told me to delete shader caches in GPU folder. So I tried that and am about to test it to see if it worked.
