WE NEED CRAFTING BENCH!!!

Since the affixes you can get from items are random, we end up selling or transforming 99% of our rare item drops into Regal Shards. This, on its own, is not a bad thing; since it would be ridiculous if every rare drop were a usable item. However, what we end up being forced to do is sell every rare item and use our exalts to buy decent 3-4 mod usable rare items from trade. And the trade in this game at the moment is TOO FRUSTRATING! People never return to your trade request, there are Chinese price fixers, the moment you send a trade request, people pump up the price.... I want to use my own currency to craft my own items. I tried a little SSF last league. And it was by far my worst not ARPG but gaming experience ever. I like the gameplay in PoE 2. Of course, there are lots of improvements to be made, but I enjoy the gameplay and the skills we can use; they all look really cool. However, items are also a core part of this game. If we can get 2 usable affix items, we could just craft that very third mod, which we desperately need to have good usable items during the campaign and early maps. I'm not a veteran Poe 1 player. And in my experience, I could easily say this crafting bench was not a complex content to use. It was very helpful, easy to use, and accessible. Runes are not enough because we don't get enough Artificer's orbs early game. But do you know what we get enough of? Transmutes and augmentation orbs. And do you know what they were used for in Poe 1? In a crafting bench. I don't want to discard good boots just because I couldn't get a good movement speed mod. I no longer want to not be able to switch my items because they don't have good life mods. I no longer want to worry about pondering if my item is worth using an artificer's orb on it or if I should save it. Runes are good implementations, don't get me wrong. But they just feel worst version of a crafting bench.

Maybe not crafting bench particulary, but mechanic like that definetly.
