I'm unable to equip new map device cosmetic

The button to equip the cosmetic I just purchased is still tied to "drink potion" (right on the D-pad) while editing hideout features, so I'm unable to use it. When in hideout edit mode, pressing the button to change variation triggers the drink potion effect, but doesn't modify map device. There doesn't appear to be a way to modify the button layout of editing my hideout at this time. There doesn't appear to be a way to modify my general controller layout to remove drink potion prior to editing.

it’s a bit unintuitive, but if you are in the cosmetic menu try to scrolll down by right stick instead of analog buttons.or try to type map device in the filter.

Hopefully that works?

I'm seeing the same thing. I once had another skin for my map device, but I accidentally set it back to default and now I can't change it.

All the game will do whilst in editing mode is try to use a mana potion.

when I try the thumbstick as the poster above me suggested, it moves the map device or rotates it.

I had the same issue. I tried rebooting the game, booting POE1 before going back to POE2 (as it fixes filter issues), changing the type of hideout, removing all the items in the hideout, and even quitting the game until the portals de-spawn from the normal map device.

Ultimately, I was able to install it in my initial hideout (Shrine Hideout), after de-spawning the portals around the map device and searching for ''map device'' inside the Doodad Hideout Stash. It wouldn't show otherwise.

So in steps (PS5 only):
-Make sure you don't have an open map, or portals around your Map device
-Open ''Edit Hideout'' with Left joystick
-Open ''Open Hideout Stash'' with controller touch pad
-Define Filter to ''Map device'' with Left joystick and left arrow

If you bought the Timekeeper's map device, it should appear as one of the choices, you can select it and install it.

That's all that was required for me.
