Not sure if this is 100% intended, but as the node states, you're life can not change while you have energy shield. That means it will not go up either, including back in town clicking a well. You literally have to spec out of the node and spec back into the node to heal. Maybe make it, "Your life can not go down while you have energy shield"? I'm sure it's not as easy to program but from the user prospective it would be a massive quality of life fix.

occasionally I am getting hit by abilities that will take a chunk of ES and Life at the same time though? Is that a bug potentially or is there a scenario where this should be happening that needs to be accounted for?
Assuming it is currently due to usage of Atziri's Disdain % passing ES but my health is still allowed to drop even though Eternal Life is being used. Last edited by nyrixx#4179 on Apr 25, 2025, 12:41:11 PM

Bump. If your Energy Shield begins filling before your life, whatever your life total is at at that moment becomes your new max life. Only way to reset back to full life is to die or respec ascendency and then spec back.
