Shut off player collision with other players and allies!

I know people are talking about balance and other aspects of the game being a slog or whatever, but *this* is easily the worst part of the multiplayer experience IMO.
I've had so many deaths due to desync, snapping around, or generally just being stuck on the other players I'm partied with, or whatever dumbass companion they've summoned. This, combined with the number of other multiplayer bugs [1] we've run into has me convinced that no one at GGG is testing the multiplayer experience at all. It's really bad. Collision with players with the size of the some of the arenas and enemy AoEs is an absolutely braindead design choice. And it's not even just direct collision. If you and another player are near each other and try to roll in the same relative direction, you'll both catch and basically be stuck in place. Hope you weren't dodging a boss's one-shot ability. Seriously, just remove ally collision. No one's immersion will be broken by having agency over their character's fucking position. [1] Many of the Huntress's new abilities don't even show up for other players. For example, her storm lance ability simply isn't visible to other players, nor are any of the sparks from it if detonated. Last bumped on Apr 13, 2025, 8:05:29 PM

+! This definitely needs to be addressed. I agree.
When game developers ignore the criticism that would improve their game, the game fails.
Just because a game receives a great amount of praise vs. only a small amount of criticism does not mean to call it a day and make a foolish misplaced assumption that it is perfect. (me) |

"- Jonathon Jankily getting stutter stepped back and forth by your allies, pushed and blocked, is apparently better than not feeling the weight. He said the same thing about screen clutter in party too. Not getting flashbanged by your teammates in an ARPG is apparently unfun too. |
