Witch Hunter's Sorcery Ward Still Feels Weak Post Patch

Hi GGG,

After playing Witch Hunter again with the latest patch, I feel that Sorcery Ward is still noticeably underpowered, especially for an ascendancy that should offer a distinct defensive identity.

Issues:
1. Sorcery Ward doesn’t feel like a proper ascendancy-level defense.
2. It ends up being weaker or more awkward than standard mechanics like armor, evasion, or energy shield.
3. The ascendancy passives don’t stand out or feel impactful.
4. The current implementation still has a penalty that feels unjustified given the limited benefits.

Suggestions:
1. Remove the penalty tied to Sorcery Ward.
2. Rework it into a stronger, more functional version of energy shield that actually feels like an upgrade. It could be an enhanced shield that’s great at absorbing elemental damage, but cannot be used alongside normal energy shield.
3. Instead of scaling with Intelligence like regular energy shield, it could scale with Strength and Dexterity, since traditional energy shield is tied to Intelligence-based gear. This would open up new build possibilities and give Sorcery Ward a distinct identity, making it feel truly unique to the Witch Hunter archetype.
4. Add unique interactions, scaling options, or modifiers that make Sorcery Ward stand out compared to existing defenses.

Right now, Witch Hunter feels like it is missing both flavor and function in its defensive tools. Ascendancy passives should be noticeable and meaningful, not just slightly different takes on base mechanics.

Thanks for reading. Would love to see improvements in future patches.

Really hope this makes it into the next patch. Witch Hunter has so much potential if Sorcery Ward gets some love.
