Brightness changes when moving vs standing still

Hi,
I'm playing Path of Exile 2 on PS5 and noticed that the screen brightness increases when my character is standing still, but it gets darker as soon as I start moving. It’s very distracting and I can’t find any setting to fix it. Has anyone else experienced this or knows a solution? Thanks! Last bumped on May 3, 2025, 8:56:25 AM

Bright based on light radius and *blind* debuff. Make sure that you dont have uniques or debuffs that affect ur light radius or blind you

Hello!
I experienced this issue as well with a brand new monitor that I bought. I noticed that no in-game settings were able to fix it. After hours of searching I found that Path of Exile 1 & 2 actually has this specific issue with VA panel types. Monitors typically have IPS, TN, or VA panels, and it seems if you use a monitor with VA it'll darken significantly, blur your screen, and even change the color of items on your loot filter while moving. Unfortunately the only fix I've found is to get a monitor or TV with IPS or TN panel type. :( |
