Act II Crashes

Since the update .02, I have been crashing every time I enter Act 2 as a new character, or if I return to the town during act 2 ( after launching the game roughly 20 times in a rare luck I make it into the game). This Hard crashes the game every time. I have tried changing renders, rolling back drivers, verifying the game through steam, uninstalling, re-installing, manually editing the config for render type...you name it, I have done it. Nothing works. I have never had an issue until yesterday, then once I hit act 2, it crashes. I re-made another character thinking maybe something is wrong with the class, ( I am currently playing a sorc, and I read online someone having the issue with witch, so I thought maybe it's the class? nope and same thing with a merc. I am out of options now and I can no longer play in this state, or progress. Any information would be nice, or if others are having this same issue, maybe it can get fixed with enough support behind it. Anyway this is my issue.

You can either click login and alt-tab so your Poe2 is minimized and wait to fully load in. If that does not work you need to change servers and click login. Either fix SHOULD work.

You can not ALT+TAB when logging in because the crash is instant as soon as the gears pop up, and it still closes out completely regardless of that. As far as servers, I do not see that options, I can change languages up top, but there is no drop down on the right - Just says TEXAS.

You should be able to see the drop down for servers on the top right before hitting the login in button. If Texas is the only server you see then you have a larger problem.
The Texas server is dead, most of us have switched to D.C. Run a file verification from your Steam/Epic to see if some config file that contains the server list is missing.

Apologies, I did switch servers and that did work. From Texas to Washington. I will run it and see if it continues. Thank you.
