BUG: Cannot get out of Castaway Arena after killing boss

We ended up killing the Castaway map boss fairly quickly in a 5 man party, but couldn't get out of the arena to fully complete the map. The arena zone entrance was still active, and kept teleporting the player model back into the arena. The boss was in the southeast corner, facing northwest.

We ended up completing the map by having the party leader commit suicide and respawn back at the nearest checkpoint, along with the explosives (lol).

The party leader ended up using a mana flask that removed 15% of mana from life, thereby allowing them to reset the boss instance and respawning outside of the arena.

The same thing happened to me playing solo, and there's a reddit thread here of another using having the same issue:

I don't have any means of forcing my character to die, so I'm going to log out for 20 mins or so and hope that I can re-attempt the map.

Lost my highest-tier map and the ability to play for a while, this is a very annoying bug and really saps the joy out of my finding and attempting my first unique map in PoE 2.

Try to get (or buy) a mana flask that removes life upon use. Thats what worked for our group. Once dead, you can reset the instance. Hope this helps exile!

exited to character selection screen, then login to hideout, entered the map again, was outside the arena but needed to enter again to collect the device to explode the treasure spot, and was stuck again by the red "door" .. so stupid

Still happens, played it solo. Completed the map by exploding the device with the boss area.

Quite the letdown
