Server disconnects fully completing maps on reconnect

So with the constantly getting kicked out of the server & lagging, sometimes when I connect back into the game I've noticed it will jump me to the end of maps, I was playing the unique map Viridian Wildwood for the first time, 2 seconds into the map, I froze, got kicked out, reconnected & suddenly I was at the end of the map in the small room & exit portal & didn't get to experience the map at all or get any of the benefits from the juiced waystone I used, kinda sucks as it was my first time playing this area :(
