essence spawn in arena of forge boss

Today I was taking on the forge boss and about a quarter of the way into the fight there was an essence spawn in the canal. Being as I didn't have a build or character strong enough at this point to kill an essence and the boss during the timed fight I skipped it. This lead to the boss getting stuck on the essence mobs and breaking the encounter he could not get to me and the lava made it impossible for me to get to him. Had to restart the fight by respawning at checkpoint. I realize that this is a minor inconvenience for me but I don't think that essences should spawn in that area if they are going to block the boss from progressing the fight if we choose to skip it.

this happened to me as well. it was kinda funny and I actually tried using the mobs to apply splash damage to the forgemaster (through warcry and herald of ash)
