Azmeri Spirit feels clunky

I love the addition of the Azmeri Spirit, but...
The issue: The spirit requires players to stay way too close to initiate movement, and the time it takes to possess a rare feels frustrating. When a rare enemy is within visible range, I have to approach it carefully—without killing it—by stopping my damage, running around in circles, and dodging attacks while the spirit “does its thing.” It feels wrong to have to completely stall my damage just to avoid killing a rare “too quickly”. Suggestion: Once the spirit is discovered, it should automatically run toward the nearest rare enemy, without requiring the player to stay close throughout the entire process. At the very least, it should move a bit faster and continue slightly beyond player vision. I had all my Atlas skill points invested in Spirits, but it simply doesn't feel good.
