Can't have 2 companions of different kinds passive node

I have the have 2 kinda of companions passive node yet it won't let me equip a drake and a gorilla. Says limit reached. Also Preview for passive nodes are no longer a thing. Used to be able to highlight and see what picking the node would do...not anymore. Also the preword filter doesn't allow you to type anything you want in so when you try to find companions they aren't there to filter.
