Rollback Bug From Crashing?

I was doing a map and out of no where I literally just froze for a solid 3 mins, then it kick me out to the title screen, after I join back I couldn't go back into the map and lost the expedition log book I picked up + exalted from my inventory. The map is also no longer available to go back and I lost my map. What dufaq is this actually, I want my item I got from the map back.

The instance crashed server-side, which is why you weren't able to re-enter it.

GGG won't give you the item(s) back. If you ever get a high-value drop and don't want to risk losing it to an instance crash, portal to town. This will trigger a database sync which means the instance server crashing later can't result in the item being forgotten about.
