Is there any reason why Crossbow can't mount Rhoa?

It's a 60 spirit skill gem, not like it's free. Crossbow clear speed is nowhere close to spear yet spear can mount up and get no movement penalty, while crossbow has reloading, limited amount of magazine, and insane amount of movement penalty while shooting. Rhoa mount spirit skill would be very helpful to crossbow. Why is it only limited to bow and spear?

Legit. Let us use crossbows with Rhoa Mount. PLEASE! So shocked that it isn't a thing already. Where has the fun and creativity gone in this game..?

I've got to agree, Crossbows, Bows + Spears should be viable at least as they are all ranger style weapons. Personally I can't see why all weapon types can't be used on Rhoa it doesn't make sensse to be honest!

Seriously though, making exclusive mount only for ranged characters is a bit... controversal with "we know how to fix melee" thing.

They could make slow and armored mount for warriors instead, which would shore up all the usual poe melee deficiencies since 2013. And since rangers and mages couldn't use that mount, parity achieved.
