Gas Arrow self infliction of damage?

Gas arrow, when ignited with either flame wall, fire damage or enemy sources; seems to make the poison cloud or gas cloud which is produced from the skill do damage to self.

This doesn't happen all the time so either I am missing the correct trigger or the self damage is not always triggering.

Bow and gloves added fire damage and I have flame wall with Arcane Tempo.



Will try to update if anything changes or I understand the info better.

On further inspection I may be big dumb dumb and didn't realise the similar looking poison cloud produced by enemies might be the cause of the damage.

I wonder if a colour adjustment would be nice for this seeing as they are too similar?
