Cull The Weak Feedback
|
Hello!
SUUUUPER excited to have Cull the Weak on the Huntress. I LOVED the mobility with it on my Monk during EA launch. It felt SO good. I just tried out Cull the Weak (CTW) and had some feedback for you. The dash mechanic with the CTW skill does not feel good or fluid. Granted, I am not a god-tier player, but I find the only way the dash part of CTW works is if I release the left mouse button bound to "move only". To test this, I went back and logged into my Monk, which still feels so good and fluid. The dash on Killing Palm worked perfectly without releasing the left mouse button, which is also bound to "move only". The dash on CTW isn't as responsive as Killing Palm. With Killing Palm, I'm able to dash from enemy to enemy, culling each. With CTW I am not able to dash between enemies to cull. Also, the dash distance between CTW seems to be much shorter than Killing Palm. I notice that when you CTW she thrusts her spear forward instead of dashing. I understand they are different skills for different classes but I wanted to provide the feedback anyway, as maybe this was unintended. Another thing I'd like to provide feedback on is the duration of frenzy charges. I found that regardless of whether you got all 3 frenzy charges at the same time or if you got them one at a time, separated by a few seconds, they all expire at the same time. It would be cool to see each frenzy charge expire based on how long you've had that specific charge instead of them all expiring at the same time. Thank you for all you do. I know it's been a rough launch, but I appreciate y'all giving us a skill like this and making changes so Huntress is more fun to play. It's been rough lol Last bumped on Apr 8, 2025, 12:58:17 PM

CTW isn't supposed to be a better version of an Unarmed Attack. I'm fine with it being appropriately tuned, but that shouldn't mean it egregiously outperform it's sister skill Killing Palm .

Right, but my post isn't about the damage output but about the fluidity/feeling of the skill. I don't think CTW should be better, but IMHO it could feel as good as Killing Palm.
