Tactician Cannons, Ready! + Siege Cascade don't work

Cannons, Ready! in the Tactician ascendancy states that your totems only fire when you fire an Attack Projectile. Siege Cascade is an Attack that fires Projectiles but unlike other crossbow skills Artillery Ballistas do nothing at all when firing Siege Cascade.
