Patch 2.0 is ok - not great, but not the end of the gaming world

TLDR: Hated it, now not so much.
When I came on here the day of the patch release, I hated it. And I pretty much said what I felt to the point I thought the mods would break out the ban stick. Came back and tried something different. Different approach. I have always played sorc in any ARPG. I have never liked melee fights. Sorc is out for this patch, I think - it's going to carry you only so far and then you're going to hit a wall at about level 74 - my opinion from running about 15 different builds on the passive tree in MB. Went full chaos and will build this out as a lich. I'm about 4 hours into it, and so far have killed just about everything in sight. Killed the executioner in about 15 seconds. Killed the Act 1 boss in about 40 seconds. Now in act 2, killed the first boss (wolf creature, don't remember the name) but I did die - once. My fingers fault, not the character build. So far, this is going better than the first time I played 1.0. I'm lvl 18, and have about 300dps on chaos bolt, and running some other spells, all chaos related, and minions for now. Res maxed. Made some items, sold them, made better ones, got some ex and bought better gear on the trade site. I think that's the secret to this season - you're gonna have to trade up your gear, sell the old stuff, sell any uniques not related to your build, and keep moving up. Now, did GGG screw up on this patch? Yes and no. I see things I don't like, enemy buffs that are OP (for God's sake, dial back the qty and potency of those crabs in the Hunting Grounds and stop spitting fire at me with the shrimp cocktail suckers!!!) Didn't kill me, BTW. I think the current passive tree just sucks big... well, you get it. The new huntress character - yeaahhh - no. Weak. I think IMHO opinion that GGG is trying to push us into new builds. Someone is gonna say "4 hours? Dude, you should be at lvl 60" or something. Yeah. I have a day job that's about 70 hrs a week, a disabled spouse, and a kid starting college. I don't have a YT channel. And I'm 60 years old. Meh. Anyway, 'nuff said.
