Feedback about what the game is trying to be

Okay. I get it, we get it. GGG wants PoE2 to be slow.

But maybe we can come up with something here? It doesn't have to be painful and tedious. Why not make it slow and FUN? Right?

Open world games with huge maps, like Skyrim, Witcher, Elden Ring, etc. have checkpoints, as well as mounts to help us traverse the overworld. I think it's obvious that at some point we will get tired of running around with our feet.

Games that have enemies that are mechanically difficult to deal with, like Dark Souls, Monster Hunter, etc. have slow telegraphed attacks. The enemies don't usually swarm you, and if they do, those enemies are easy to kill. And you get guaranteed (useful) items for defeating difficult bosses.

Now, let's take a look at PoE2. A game that wants to mix huge maps, souls-like difficulty, and ARPG in one plate.

You have huge maps with no mounts or mobility skills to travel across the maps quickly. I know you've added or plan to add more checkpoints, but that is not the best (stupid) solution.

You have dangerous enemies swarming at you that can get you from 100 to 0 that are also difficult to kill.

You have difficult (Amazing) boss fights that don't guarantee useful items.

On top of that, you don't give loots? You took away player power from skill and support gems? And you expect us to play this every 3 to 4 months?

Come! on! We are not stupid enough to do that.

We are here, I am here because I care about the game.

I want it to be the greatest APRG. But as of now, it's not there, not even remotely close to PoE1's greatness.
