0.2 5 second game freeze

Experiencing an issue where the game randomly will freeze for about five seconds (I can hit esc and wait it out). When I return, my minimap has been reset and the fog of war is back but the game continues working normally. Is this some sort of bug with disconnect protection?

I'm having the same issue too. The game freezes for about 5 seconds, monsters and all. Then i get the loading screen while everything re-renders and the fog of war in my map resets, preventing me from using checkpoints or seeing where I've been.

This freeze is not map-specific. It has happened in multiple maps and has also happened in my hideout.

Hoping for a quick fix or a temporary workaround.

Having the exact same issue, occurs maybe once every hour or so. Seen it happening when also playing with others, who don't seem to be affected, so likely guess this is a client issue and not a server issue.
