Corrupted Nexus Confusion/Issue

Not fully understanding the corrupted nexus I "Map Completed" the Corrupted nexus map, opened with 4 affix waystone/correct Tier etc. And i moved on to the next map later noticing i still have 0 atlas points. Essentially i have wasted all the time getting to a corrupted nexus map nodes and "incorrectly" completed the map. Thus throwing away atlas points i can no longer get because the map node is green and the corrupted nexus is gone. This is not a great design in my opinion and ive seen other people have the same issue.

The Questbook is a little bit vague in saying "Complete a Tier 2+ Corrupted Nexus" without describing what that actually is. Did you use a higher tiered waystone? Didn't pick up the green item on the ground ?

The Questbook is very vague for Cataclysms Wake yes, and the first one doesnt even have a tier tied to it. Just simply says Travel to the corrupted nexus. So i said ok went to the corrupted nexus map, cleared elites etc. and map completed popped up, no green dropped for me, I would have seen it or heard it drop. Im now aware it was a issue of me not finding something specific on the map or whatever. The issue is you can "complete" the map and leave or dc or die or whatever and the corrupted nexus gets lost without atlas rewards.

I think they need to be a little bit clearer about what is required of the player. Doryani should have the green item available in his chat dialogue if players miss it (if they killed the boss that spawns after the last rare monster)

Agreed, something needs to change, like the Corrupted nexus stays on that node until its completed for the Atlas point then removed.
