'Companion Loyalty' notable skill does not apply companion damage to the player

Steps to reproduce: path over to the Companion Loyalty wheel, take the '8% increased damage in your companions presence, 12% increased companion damage' small nodes, then take Companion Loyalty and observe no change in skill DPS on gems/sheet info.

There are 4 small passives leading to it with 12% companion damage each, so taking Loyalty should immediately provide 48% increased player damage and give a noticeable boost to gem/sheet DPS, but there is 0 change.

I tried changing zones/reloggging/resummoning the companion a few times to no avail, it just doesn't seem to actually convert the small nodes to your damage.

I'm doing a companion build as well and the defences do not scale with more than 1 companion active (seems the 'check' is only looking if active, not based on the number active). Hping we get acknowledgement soon as I was looking forward to a companion build.
