Why are some players with patch 0.1 experience getting weaker??

(I'm playing Monk, mid way through Act III, only died a handful of times)
(On my very first playthrough of POE2 0.1.0, I spent almost 3 hrs on Final Act I boss because I had low cold resistance and far less passives/building experience)

I'm after constructive posts please as to specifically why some of you are suffering.

- Are some of you equipping boots without movement speed?
- Are you not equipping resistance rings for final Act I boss and beyond?
- Are you on a completely different class than you were pre patch?
- Is the game skipping animations sometimes? Do you have bad wifi?
